Search engine giant Google has declared some interesting updates and changes for Chat and Hangouts.
The innovations are a part of the company’s plan to replace Google Chat with Hangouts.
The move will affect Google Workspace (G Suite), and free users also.
Google Chat which is exclusive to G Suite users for now will become free for everyone to use by next year.
Currently, non G Suite users have access to Hangouts. However, Google Chat will provide better features such as send to Inbox, faster search, emoji reactions and suggested replies.
Google Chat has better usability as it helps to share and collaborate on files, and assign tasks to team members.
In the first half of next year, users will be able to do their transition from Google Hangouts to Chats.
Isn’t cool? Now, we are moving towards a better digital world that helps us function more smoothly than before.
