Modi government’s big announcement for 5300 Kashmiris from POK, will get five and a half lakh rupees

New Delhi. In the meeting of the Union Cabinet on Wednesday, the Modi government took several important decisions, including the increase in dearness allowance by five percent. The government has given a Diwali gift to about 5300 Kashmiri families who have migrated from PoK and migrated to many states of India.

Now these families will be given financial assistance of five and a half lakh rupees from the center so that they can come and settle in Kashmir. The demand for this was rising for a long time.

The name of these 5300 families was not initially included in the list of displaced. But now the Central Government has decided that their names will also be included in the list and financial assistance will be given.

After the meeting, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar told reporters, “In the year 2016, the Prime Minister announced a package of Rs 5.5 lakh per family for the POK displaced. But then 5300 families could not join it because they were out of Jammu and Kashmir and their name did not come up. ”

He informed that 5300 families have been included in today’s decision. Javadekar said that justice has been done to these families with this decision. This decision will be welcomed in the entire Kashmir Valley.

He said that there are many displaced groups in Jammu and Kashmir. Under this, there is a group of migrants who came after 1947. The second group is that of the displaced who came after the merger of Jammu and Kashmir. There were 5300 families who came from PoK but migrated to other states. The minister said that those who have come back to Jammu and Kashmir have been included in it.
