Mumbai: The cyber cell of the Mumbai police arrested advocate Vibhor Anand from Delhi for allegedly spreading fake conspiracy theories about Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian death cases on social media.
Anand is also accused of using defamatory language against the Maharashtra government and Mumbai police. He was brought to Mumbai on Thursday night.
According to sources, the accused spread false content and conspiracy theories and defamed individuals and institutions in the process. He was brought to Mumbai city. Police say interrogation will begin once medical formalities are completed.
Actor Sushant Singh was found dead on June 14 in his house in Mumbai. The Central Bureau of Investigation, the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau are involved in the investigation.
