As Board Exams are on the way and for majority of the students who are biting their nails out there assuming it a nightmare because of exam pressure so here we are providing some handy and easy to follow up strategies on how to prepare for board exams to pass it with flying colors.

  • Board exams are not only the test of one’s knowledge but also to check your level and lead a way to choose an ideal career ahead.
  • It’s not a cakewalk to prepare for the exams and score well. Proper strategy and it’s follow up is required to get good results. Some of the tips are as follows
  1. Manage Time Efficiently- The first ad the most important thing is one should learn time management skills in order to score well. As time plays an important role to attain success in almost anything be it studies, business, job or anything as it’s well said that ‘a stitch in time saves nine’. So try to give time to each subject and especially to the high weightage topics and scoring ones as it will help you to prepare in less time and gain confidence in yourself for the exam.
  2. Make Precise, Small and Achievable Targets-Try to make precise and easy to follow time table and target for each day and work on it unless you complete it within a day. Doing so will release your exam pressure and burden and also boost your confidence with each passing day.
  3. Take Breaks-Taking short breaks amid study are as important as the preparation as it helps to release exam stress and make you fresh to carry out the next study plan and tasks all day. It is good to have some outdoors like jogging, a short walk, playing any outdoor game, etc or spending some time with your family members.
  4. Prepare with Your Core Books-During the last months of your exam it is good to prepare with your core books as the majority of the questions are covered from your main books. Do read reference books and refreshers during the initial days of the session to have a grasp on the topics.
  5. Keep Individual Note Books for Different Subjects- This will help you to mention important notes and formulas of different subjects individually as during the exam time it will be pretty easy to do revision of the desired portion.
  6. Pay Enough time for the Weaker Sections- You must know the portions in which you’re not that good and give enough time to study and practice it to score well in that subject.
  7. Make Precise Study Notes– Making to the point and precise notes will help and make the revision easy for you during the last days of your exams. Make smaller Heads and Subheads and comprehend the inner part of it and during examination try to cover those heads with the inner parts in your own language.
  8. Underline specific parts of Your Answers- It is good to underline or make the core or specific part of your answer in bold to highlight it especially in Descriptive or long Questions. Writing a narrative story and circumrotating the examiner won’t fetch you good marks instead write your answers in points or short paragraphs and highlighting the important parts to catch the examiners attention to it.

Firstly read the whole paper with a cursory glance in the initial minutes of the exam and solve those questions at first in which you are master at then go with the remaining ones later on. Doing so will boost your confidence and also help you to complete the paper within time constraints.
