Rajasthan crisis: Congress MLAs left for Jaisalmer in 3 charter planes

Jaipur: After the approval of the assembly session by the Governor Kalraj Mishra in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has prepared to take all his supporting MLAs to Jaisalmer. The MLAs are being taken to Jaisalmer from three chartered planes. An aircraft has left. Other MLAs will leave in some time. Some time ago all the MLAs of Gehlot Camp were seen at the airport. According to the information received, all the MLAs will remain in Jaisalmer till 14 August. In fact, the governor has allowed the Gehlot government to convene the assembly session from 14 August.

Earlier this month, after the political crisis in Rajasthan started, a CLP meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s residence. In the meeting, there was a demand from Sachin Pilot to take away the post of Deputy Chief Minister and Congress State President. The party high command approved the demand and the pilot was removed with immediate effect. Since then, all the MLAs of the Gehlot camp were staying at the Fairmount Hotel in Jaipur. Photos and videos were constantly being shared by the legislators. Actually the reason behind taking MLAs to Jaisalmer is to stop the horse-trading of MLAs.

Chief minister Ashok Gehlot, while claiming about the horse-trading of MLAs on the previous day, said, ‘Since last night when the assembly session has been announced, the rate of horse-trading has increased in Rajasthan. Earlier the first installment was 10 crores and the second installment was 15 crores. Now it has become unlimited. Everybody knows who the people are selling and selling.
