New Delhi: Amid tensions in India and China, PM Narendra Modi on Friday made a surprise visit to Ladakh and encouraged the Indian soldiers posted on the outskirts. In the midst of the Prime Minister’s visit to Ladakh, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi once again appeared in an aggressive tone. In a tweet, he raised serious questions on PM Modi’s statement about the infiltration of China. Rahul wrote in his tweet – People of Ladakh say: China took our land. PM says – no one has taken our land… Someone is lying. Rahul has also posted a video of the residents of Ladakh with his tweet.
This tweet by former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi came on the same day that PM Modi visited Nimu, a place beyond Leh, to meet the personnel of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). The Prime Minister reached Leh at 9.30 am with Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat. After the Ladakh conflict, PM Modi said last month that China has not occupied any Indian territory or outposts. He claimed this in his address to the nation after an all-party meeting on the Ladakh issue.
