Beijing: With the death of 116 people due to the corona virus in Hubei province of China, the death toll due to this epidemic reached one and a half thousand. Health officials gave this information on Friday. The Provincial Health Commission reported that 4,823 new cases of corona virus were reported in Hubei on Thursday.

The Xinhua News Agency reported that 3,095 of these cases had been clinically confirmed. According to the report, the total confirmed cases in the province reached 51,986 and with this the total cases of corona virus infection in the country increased to 64,627.

The National Health Commission has not yet given the total number of cases of corona virus infection. On Thursday, the commission announced that a record 242 people died in a single day in China’s Hubei province from the deadly corona virus.

China’s health officials said on Thursday that they had received reports of 15,152 new cases and 254 deaths from 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Product and Construction Corps. Of these, 242 deaths occurred in Hubei Province. The number of corona virus cases abroad has increased to 440. This has led to the death of one person in the Philippines.

Japan has the highest number of 203 cases of corona virus after China. Most of these people have been placed in cruise ships after being found infected with the Corona virus, including two Indians. The 15-member World Health Organization (WCHO) team is currently in China and is helping local health officials to combat the corona virus outbreak.

Here in India, doctors have suggested avoiding close contact with people with symptoms of the disease like cough and cold. Suranjit Chatterjee, senior consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in Delhi, said, “To prevent the spread of corona virus, one must take care of hygiene and wash hands frequently with soap.

According to the World Health Organization, standards to prevent infection include regularly washing hands, covering the mouth and nose while coughing and sneezing, cooking meat and eggs well. Avoid visiting anyone who shows signs of cough and cold and respiratory disease.
