Beijing: With the death of 116 people due to the corona virus in Hubei province of China, the death toll due to this epidemic reached one and a half thousand. Health officials gave this information on Friday. The Provincial Health Commission reported that 4,823 new cases of corona virus were reported in Hubei on Thursday.
The Xinhua News Agency reported that 3,095 of these cases had been clinically confirmed. According to the report, the total confirmed cases in the province reached 51,986 and with this the total cases of corona virus infection in the country increased to 64,627.
The National Health Commission has not yet given the total number of cases of corona virus infection. On Thursday, the commission announced that a record 242 people died in a single day in China’s Hubei province from the deadly corona virus.
China’s health officials said on Thursday that they had received reports of 15,152 new cases and 254 deaths from 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Product and Construction Corps. According to the World Health Organization, standards to prevent infection include regularly washing hands, covering the mouth and nose while coughing and sneezing, cooking meat and eggs well. Avoid visiting anyone who shows signs of cough and cold and respiratory disease.
