India will implement BS VI vehicle emission standards by April next year: Union environment minister

New Delhi. Due to the efforts of the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi-NCR (National Capital Region) is now seeing more ‘good days’ in terms of environment than before. Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar while giving detailed information during a press conference in New Delhi today said that a high-level meeting of five states was held soon to deal with the problem of air pollution caused in Delhi due to burning of stubble Will. He said that to keep the stubble burning under control, the government has provided more than 20,000 machines to farmers in Punjab and Haryana at a cost of about Rs 1,150 crore.
