A survey on global employability was held recently, which ranked India at the 15th position.
Just a decade back i.e. in 2010, the country had ranked 23.
This shows that India has progressed in terms of employability rates and that is the reason behind the improvement of eight places in the ranking.
The top-250 Universities in the world has listed 6 universities with Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, getting an overall rank of 27. Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (195), and Amity University (236) are the new entrants in the list.
The survey titled Global Employability Ranking and Survey 2020 was conducted by Times Higher Education and Emerging, which is a French consultancy group.
