New Delhi. Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed on Wednesday has equaled Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian team. Sarfaraz became the second wicketkeeper to captain a team in 50 matches after Dhoni in ODI cricket.
Sarfaraz achieved this in the third ODI against Sri Lanka in Karachi. Dhoni has captained India in 200 ODIs as a wicket-keeper. During this, he won 110 matches, while in 74 matches he has lost. Five matches are tied.
Sarfaraz has won 27 matches as captain so far and has lost 20. In the ODI series between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, the host country is leading 1-0. The first ODI was canceled due to rain.
